2. Safety Information

3. Setup Guide
3.1 Unpacking and Component Identification
Carefully unpack the ALIEN PRO L13 Audio System and ensure all components are present:
- 1 x 12-inch Subwoofer unit
- 2 x Satellite Speakers

- 1 x User Manual (this document)

3.2 Connecting the Satellite Speakers
The two satellite speakers connect directly to the subwoofer unit. Locate the speaker output terminals on the rear panel of the subwoofer. Connect each satellite speaker using appropriate speaker cables (not included, unless specified by retailer) to these terminals. Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -) for optimal sound quality.
3.3 Power Connection
Connect the provided power cable to the AC IN port on the rear of the subwoofer unit. Plug the other end into a standard electrical outlet (110-240V AC, 50/60Hz). Ensure the power switch is in the OFF position before connecting to power.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Power On/Off
After connecting the power cable, flip the main power switch located on the rear panel of the subwoofer to the ON position. The display panel on the front/top of the subwoofer will illuminate, indicating the system is powered on.
4.2 Mode Selection
Press the 'MODE' button on the control panel to cycle through available input modes: Bluetooth (BT), USB, SD, FM Radio, and Line In (RCA).
4.3 Bluetooth Pairing
- Switch the system to Bluetooth mode using the 'MODE' button. The display will show "BT" and a pairing indicator will flash.
- On your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
- Select "ALIEN PRO L13" from the list of devices.
- Once paired, the system will emit a confirmation sound, and the Bluetooth indicator will stop flashing. You can now play audio from your device wirelessly.
4.4 USB/SD Playback
Insert a USB flash drive or an SD card (with MP3 audio files) into the respective slot on the control panel. The system will automatically switch to USB or SD mode and begin playing audio files. Use the playback controls (Play/Pause, Next/Previous Track) on the control panel to manage your music.
4.5 FM Radio Operation
- Switch the system to FM Radio mode.
- Press and hold the 'Play/Pause' button to initiate an automatic scan for FM stations. The system will save all found stations.
- Use the 'Next/Previous Track' buttons to navigate through the saved stations.
4.6 Microphone and Guitar Inputs
The L13 system features two microphone inputs and two guitar inputs. Connect your microphones or guitars to the corresponding 1/4" (6.35mm) jacks on the control panel. Adjust the individual volume knobs for each input as needed. The system also includes echo and delay effects for microphones, adjustable via dedicated knobs.
4.7 TWS (True Wireless Stereo) Functionality
To link two ALIEN PRO L13 systems for a true stereo experience:
- Ensure both L13 units are powered on and in Bluetooth mode, but not yet paired with any device.
- On one of the units (this will be the master unit), press and hold the 'TWS' button (if available, or a designated pairing button for TWS). The unit will search for another L13.
- Once connected, the master unit will indicate successful TWS pairing.
- Now, pair your Bluetooth device to the master L13 unit as described in section 4.3. Audio will play in stereo across both linked systems.
4.8 Equalizer and Tone Controls
The L13 system includes a 5-band equalizer and dedicated controls for bass and treble. Use these controls on the control panel to fine-tune the audio output to your preference and environment.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
To clean the exterior of the unit, use a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish. Ensure the unit is unplugged before cleaning.
