2. Power Connection
- Connect the power cable to the projector's power input port.
- Plug the other end of the power cable into a standard electrical outlet.
- The power indicator light on the projector should illuminate.
3. Connecting Devices
The RPJ106 supports various input sources:
- HDMI: Connect an HDMI cable from your source device (e.g., Blu-ray player, gaming console, laptop) to the HDMI input port on the projector. The projector supports 1080p, 1080i, 720p, 575i, 480p, and 480i resolutions via HDMI.
- Bluetooth: For audio output, you can wirelessly connect to a Bluetooth-compatible speaker or sound system. Refer to the "Operating" section for Bluetooth pairing instructions.
Operating Instructions
1. Powering On/Off
- To power on, press the Power button on the projector or the remote control.
- To power off, press the Power button again. The projector will enter standby mode.
2. Adjusting Focus and Keystone
Use the focus ring located around the projector lens to sharpen the image. If the image appears trapezoidal, adjust the keystone correction (if available, usually a dial or digital setting) to achieve a rectangular image.
3. Selecting Input Source
Press the "Source" button on the projector or remote control to cycle through available input sources (e.g., HDMI 1, HDMI 2, AV, USB). Select the input corresponding to your connected device.
4. Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure your Bluetooth speaker or sound system is in pairing mode.
- On the projector's menu, navigate to the Bluetooth settings.
- Select "Scan" or "Pair New Device".
- Choose your Bluetooth device from the list of discovered devices to connect.
- Once connected, audio from the projector will be routed to the paired Bluetooth device.
5. Menu Navigation
Use the navigation buttons (Up, Down, Left, Right, OK/Enter) on the projector or remote control to access and adjust settings such as picture mode, aspect ratio, sound, and system preferences.
Maintenance
1. Cleaning the Lens
Gently wipe the projector lens with a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or excessive force, as this may scratch the lens.
2. Cleaning the Projector Body
Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the projector. For stubborn marks, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by a dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or solvents.
3. Ventilation
Ensure that the ventilation vents are not blocked. Dust accumulation can impede airflow and lead to overheating. Periodically clean the vents using a soft brush or compressed air.
4. Storage
When not in use for extended periods, store the projector in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. It is recommended to cover the projector to protect it from dust.
