Setup Instructions
Follow these steps to install your 3.5-inch SATA hard drive into the NexStar HX enclosure and connect it to your computer.
1. Hard Drive Installation
- Open the Enclosure: Carefully slide open the enclosure to access the internal tray.
- Connect the Hard Drive: Align your 3.5-inch SATA hard drive with the SATA data and power connectors on the enclosure's circuit board. Gently push the hard drive until it is firmly seated.
- Secure the Hard Drive: Use the provided screws from the screw set to secure the hard drive to the internal tray. Ensure it is stable.
- Close the Enclosure: Slide the internal tray back into the enclosure until it clicks into place. Use the remaining screws to secure the enclosure's outer casing.

2. Connecting to Your Computer
- Connect Power: Plug the AC adapter into the enclosure's power port and then into a wall outlet.

Operating Instructions
Fan Control
The NexStar HX features a 60mm cooling fan with an On/Off/Variable switch. You can adjust the fan speed to optimize cooling performance and noise levels. For sustained high-performance use or in warm environments, it is recommended to set the fan to a higher speed. For lighter use, a lower speed or off setting may be sufficient.

Power Saving Mode
