Setup

1. Placement

Position the projector on a stable, flat surface. Ensure there is adequate ventilation around the unit. The projector is designed for both indoor and outdoor use, offering flexibility in your viewing environment.

2. Power Connection

  1. Connect the AC power adapter to the DC IN port on the projector.
  2. Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
  3. Press the power button on the projector or remote control to turn on the unit.

3. Connecting Devices

The RPJ133 projector offers multiple connectivity options:

  • HDMI: Connect Blu-ray players, gaming consoles (PS4/PS5), laptops, or streaming devices (like the included Roku Streaming Stick) to the HDMI 1 or HDMI 2 ports.
  • USB: Insert USB drives for media playback into the USB ports.
  • AV IN: Use the AV input for older devices with composite video and stereo audio outputs.
  • VGA: Connect computers via the VGA port.
  • AUX AUDIO OUT: Connect external speakers or headphones for enhanced audio.
  • MicroSD: Insert a MicroSD card for media playback.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

Press the Power button (Power Symbol) on the projector's top panel or the remote control to turn the unit on or off.

2. Focus and Keystone Adjustment

Adjust the focus ring located near the lens to achieve a clear image. Use the keystone correction dial (if available) to correct trapezoidal distortion if the projector is not perfectly perpendicular to the screen.

3. Roku Streaming

The projector comes with a pre-installed Roku Streaming Stick. Connect the Roku device to an available HDMI port and ensure it's powered. Use the included Roku remote to navigate the Roku interface and access streaming services like Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu, Disney+, and Apple TV+.

The bundled voice remote allows for voice control to search for content, launch apps, and adjust volume.

4. Voice Control

Utilize the voice search feature on the Roku remote or the free Roku mobile app. This allows for quick searching of movie titles, launching channels, and controlling settings using voice commands. It is compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for integrated smart home control.

5. Bluetooth Connectivity

Connect Bluetooth-enabled audio devices such as speakers or headphones to the projector for an enhanced audio experience. Refer to the projector's on-screen menu for Bluetooth pairing instructions.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your projector, try the following common solutions:
