Setup

  1. Activation: Your watch may arrive with a small plastic stopper under the crown (the button on the side) to preserve battery life. Gently pull out and remove this stopper before first use.
  2. Setting the Time: After removing the stopper, press the crown on the side of the dial to activate the watch. Rotate the crown to adjust the hour and minute hands to the correct time. Once set, push the crown back in firmly to start the watch movement.
  3. Attaching the Watch: Use the integrated carabiner clip to securely attach the watch to a belt loop, uniform, backpack, or any other convenient location.

Operating Instructions

  • Time Reading: The watch features an analog display with clear hour, minute, and second hands for easy time reading.
  • Glow-in-the-Dark Feature: The dial and hands are luminous and will glow in the dark after absorbing light. For optimal glow, expose the watch to a light source (natural or artificial) for a few minutes before entering a dark environment. The glow effect is temporary and will gradually fade.
  • Carabiner Use: The robust carabiner allows for quick attachment and detachment, making it ideal for situations where a wrist watch is impractical or uncomfortable.

Maintenance

  • Battery Replacement: The watch uses a #377 battery. To replace, carefully pry off the back cover. Please note that the back cover can be very difficult to remove and may require specialized tools to avoid scratching or damaging the watch. After replacing the battery, ensure the back cover is securely re-sealed to maintain water resistance.
  • Cleaning: Clean the watch case and crystal with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish or water-resistant seals.
  • Water Resistance: The watch is water-resistant up to 30 meters (3 ATM). This rating means it is suitable for everyday use and can withstand splashes, rain, or brief immersion in water. It is not suitable for showering, swimming, diving, or any water sports. Avoid pressing the crown or buttons when the watch is wet.
