5. Operating Instructions
The Maxima Vacuum Sealer offers fully automatic packaging, pulse vacuum function for delicate items, and a seal-only option.
5.1. Basic Vacuum Sealing Operation
- Prepare the Bag: Place the items to be vacuum-sealed into a suitable vacuum bag. Ensure the open end of the bag is clean, dry, and free from wrinkles. Leave sufficient space (at least 5-7 cm) between the contents and the open end of the bag.
- Position the Bag: Open the lid of the vacuum sealer. Place the open end of the bag flat across the sealing bar, ensuring it is centered and smooth.
- Close the Lid: Firmly close the lid until it latches securely. The machine will automatically begin the vacuuming process.
- Automatic Process: The machine will automatically extract air from the bag until the preset vacuum pressure is reached (up to 0.96 MBar), then it will automatically seal the bag. The sealing process is a short 2-second seal.
- Release: Once the sealing process is complete, the machine will release the vacuum, and you can open the lid to remove the sealed bag.
5.2. Pulse Vacuum Function (for soft products)
For delicate or soft items that could be crushed by a full vacuum, use the pulse function:
- Follow steps 1 and 2 from 'Basic Vacuum Sealing Operation'.
- Instead of fully closing the lid for automatic operation, use the digital control panel to activate the pulse vacuum function. This allows you to control the vacuum level manually by pressing and releasing the pulse button.
- Once the desired vacuum level is achieved, press the 'Seal' button to initiate the sealing process.
- After sealing, open the lid and remove the bag.
5.3. Seal Only Function
This function is used to seal bags without vacuuming, useful for creating custom-sized bags from a roll or resealing bags.
- Place the open end of the bag across the sealing bar.
- Close the lid.
- Press the 'Seal Only' button on the digital control panel. The machine will perform a 2-second seal.
- Open the lid and remove the sealed bag.
5.4. Adjustable Settings
The digital control panel allows for full adjustment of various parameters:
- Adjustable Vacuum Time: Control how long the vacuum pump operates.
- Adjustable Vacuum Pressure: Set the desired vacuum level.
- Adjustable Seal Time: Modify the duration of the sealing process for different bag thicknesses.
- Adjustable Seal Temperature: Fine-tune the heat for optimal sealing.

6. Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Maxima Vacuum Sealer.
6.1. Cleaning
- Unplug: Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet before cleaning.
- Exterior: Wipe the stainless steel casing with a soft, damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. Dry thoroughly.
- Sealing Bar: Gently wipe the sealing bar with a damp cloth. Ensure no food particles or moisture remain on the sealing element. Do not use abrasive materials that could damage the sealing strip.
- Vacuum Chamber: If any liquids or food particles enter the vacuum chamber, clean it immediately with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Rinse with a clean damp cloth and dry completely.
- Do Not Immerse: Never immerse the machine in water or any other liquid.
6.2. Storage
When not in use, store the vacuum sealer in a clean, dry place. It is recommended to store the lid slightly ajar to prevent compression of the sealing gaskets, which can prolong their lifespan.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Maxima Vacuum Sealer, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Machine does not turn on:
- Check if the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet.
- Ensure the power switch is in the 'ON' position.
- Machine is vacuuming but not sealing:
- Verify that the bag is correctly positioned over the sealing bar.
- Check the seal time and temperature settings on the digital control panel. Adjust if necessary.
- Inspect the sealing bar and sealing strip for any damage or debris. Clean if needed.
- Vacuum is not strong enough or air remains in the bag:
- Ensure the lid is fully closed and latched securely.
- Check the vacuum time and pressure settings. Increase if needed.
- Inspect the sealing gaskets for wear or damage. Replace if necessary.
- Ensure the vacuum bag is suitable for vacuum sealing and free from punctures or tears.
- Bag melts during sealing:
- The seal time or temperature may be too high for the bag material. Reduce the seal time or temperature settings.
