1. Introduction

This manual provides instructions for the Modern Forms F-RCBT-WT Bluetooth Wireless Remote Control, designed for use with Modern Forms Smart Fans. This remote offers convenient control over your fan's light and speed settings. Each Modern Forms Ceiling Fan can also be controlled via the free Modern Forms App, available on Google Play and the App Store.

4. Setup

4.1. Battery Installation

The remote control comes with two CR2032 batteries pre-installed. If replacement is needed, carefully open the battery compartment and insert new CR2032 batteries, ensuring correct polarity.

4.2. Pairing the Remote Control

To pair the remote control with your Modern Forms Smart Fan:

  1. Ensure your Modern Forms Smart Fan is powered off at the circuit breaker.
  2. Restore power to the fan at the circuit breaker.
  3. Within 30 seconds of restoring power, press and hold the fan ON/OFF button on the remote control for 5 seconds.
  4. The fan will respond with a beep and/or light flash, indicating successful pairing.

If pairing is unsuccessful, repeat the steps. Ensure the remote is within range of the fan during the pairing process.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Remote Control Functions

  • Light On/Off: Press the light bulb button to turn the luminaire on or off.
  • Brightness Control: Use the up/down arrow buttons next to the light bulb icon to adjust brightness from 0-100%.
  • Fan On/Off: Press the fan button to turn the fan on or off.
  • Fan Speed Control: Use the up/down arrow buttons next to the fan icon to cycle through 6 fan speeds.
  • Winter/Summer Mode: Press the circular arrow button to reverse the fan's blade direction. This helps circulate warm air in winter and cool air in summer.

6.1. Battery Replacement
