Safety Information

Setup and Installation
1. Battery Installation
- Ensure the light is in "Safe Off" mode to prevent accidental activation.
- Unscrew the facecap of the light counter-clockwise to access the battery compartment.
- Insert one (1) CR123A battery or one (1) Streamlight SL-B9 lithium-ion rechargeable battery pack (sold separately) with the positive (+) end facing towards the light head.
- Screw the facecap back on clockwise until snug.
2. Mounting the Light
The TLR-7 X features an integrated rail clamp for rapid attachment and detachment.
- Select the appropriate key from the included key kit for your weapon's rail type (e.g., 1913 or Universal).
- Loosen the rail clamp screw on the light.
- Align the light's rail clamp with your weapon's accessory rail.
- Slide the light onto the rail until the key engages with a rail slot.
- Tighten the rail clamp screw securely. Do not overtighten.

Operating Instructions
The TLR-7 X comes with customizable rear paddle switches (high and low) for versatile operation.
Switch Operation:
- Momentary On: Press and hold either paddle switch. Release to turn off.
- Constant On: Quickly press and release either paddle switch. Press and release again to turn off.
- Strobe Mode: From the "Off" position, quickly double-tap either paddle switch. To exit strobe, press and release either switch.
Safe Off Feature:
To prevent accidental activation and conserve battery life, the TLR-7 X includes a "Safe Off" feature. This is typically engaged by rotating the facecap a quarter turn counter-clockwise from the fully tightened position. To re-enable operation, rotate the facecap clockwise until fully tightened.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the light with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the light output diminishes significantly. Always dispose of used batteries according to local regulations.
- O-Rings: Periodically inspect and lubricate the O-rings with silicone grease to maintain water resistance.
