Setup and Installation

Before installing the Diono Radian 3QX car seat, it is crucial to read both your car seat manual and your vehicle's owner's manual section on Child Safety Seats. Proper installation is vital for safety.

Booster Mode Preparation

When transitioning to booster mode, ensure the following steps are completed:

1. Read your car seat manual thoroughly.
2. Consult your vehicle manual for the section regarding Child Safety Seats.
3. Raise the adjustable bottom of the car seat.
4. Remove the 5-point harness and crotch buckle as directed in the manual.

Booster Mode Belt Routing

When using the car seat in booster mode, place the Radian 3QX flat on the vehicle seat. Route the vehicle's shoulder belt through the upper belt guide and both the shoulder and lap belts through the lower belt guide. Buckle the seat belt securely. Always ensure the vehicle's seat belt is properly positioned across your child's shoulder and lap, as per the manual's instructions.
