Setup

2. Battery Installation

The electronic lock requires batteries for operation. Batteries are not included and must be purchased separately (typically 4 AA batteries).

1. Locate the battery compartment on the inside of the safe door, usually behind a cover.
2. Remove the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert the required batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
4. Replace the battery compartment cover.

3. Setting Your Personal Code

Before first use, you must program your personal access code.

1. With the safe door open, locate the red reset button on the inside of the door, near the hinge or battery compartment.
2. Press the red reset button. The indicator light on the keypad will illuminate.

Operation

1. Opening the Safe with Electronic Lock

1. Enter your personal 3-8 digit code on the keypad.
2. Press the '#' or '✓' button.
3. If the code is correct, the green indicator light will illuminate, and you will hear a click.
4. Within 5 seconds, turn the handle clockwise to open the safe door.

2. Using the Backup Key

In case of battery failure or forgotten code, the backup key can be used to open the safe.
