Installation and Setup

1. Unpacking and Inspection

Carefully unpack all components and verify that all parts listed in the packing list are present and undamaged. Refer to the product dimensions for pre-installation checks.

2. Door Preparation

Ensure your door thickness is between 35mm and 75mm. The lock is designed for both wooden and metal doors.

3. Battery Installation

Install the required batteries into the battery compartment located on the back panel. Ensure correct polarity. The lock will provide a low battery notification when replacement is needed.

4. Initial Programming

Follow the on-screen prompts or refer to the quick start guide for initial administrator setup, including setting the master PIN code and registering the first fingerprint/RFID card.

Operating Instructions

Unlocking the Door

Fingerprint: Place registered finger on the sensor.
PIN Code: Enter your registered PIN code followed by '#'.
RFID Card: Present the registered RFID card to the card reader area.
OzoLok App: Open the app and use the unlock function via Bluetooth. For remote access, ensure the optional OZ-GATEWAY-11 is connected and configured.
Emergency Key: Insert and turn the emergency override key.

Locking the Door

The lock typically auto-locks after closing. In Passage Mode, the door will not auto-lock, requiring manual locking when desired.

Managing Users and Settings (via OzoLok App)

The OzoLok mobile app allows for comprehensive management of your lock:

Add/Delete User Fingerprints, PINs, and RFID Cards.
Generate Time-based, One-Time, or Cyclic Passwords.
View Access Logs (Audit Trail).
Adjust lock settings, including Passage Mode activation.

Maintenance

Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the lock surface. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
Battery Replacement: Replace all batteries promptly when the low battery notification is triggered to ensure continuous operation.
Fingerprint Sensor: Keep the fingerprint sensor clean and dry for optimal performance.

Troubleshooting

Problem	Possible Cause	Solution
Lock not responding.	Dead batteries.	Replace batteries. Use emergency key if necessary.
Fingerprint not recognized.	Dirty sensor, unregistered fingerprint, or improper placement.	Clean sensor. Re-register fingerprint. Ensure proper finger placement.
