4. Setup

4.1. Car Battery Installation and Charging

The Nikko Pro Trucks uses an integrated LiFePo4 battery for power. This battery is designed for quick charging via the included USB cable.

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the vehicle.
  2. Use a screwdriver to open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Connect the LiFePo4 battery to the vehicle's internal connector.
  4. Carefully place the battery inside the compartment.
  5. Close the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.
  6. To charge, connect the USB charging cable to the vehicle's charging port and then to a USB power source (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter - not included). The battery charges quickly, typically within 60 minutes.

4.2. Remote Control Battery Installation

The remote control requires 3 AAA batteries (included).

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
  2. Use a screwdriver to open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert 3 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.

5.1. Power On and Pairing

  1. Ensure both the vehicle and the remote control have fresh or fully charged batteries installed.
  2. Turn on the vehicle using the power switch located on its underside.
  3. Turn on the remote control using its power switch.
  4. The vehicle and remote control should automatically pair using 2.4 GHz technology. A successful connection is usually indicated by a solid light on both devices. This technology allows for multiple vehicles (up to 10) to be operated simultaneously without interference.
