Setup

1. Charging the LED Light

Before first use, fully charge the LED video light. Connect the supplied Micro USB cable to the light's Micro USB Port and the other end to a compatible USB power source (e.g., computer USB port, USB wall adapter). The LED Power Indicator will show charging status.

2. Attaching to Devices

The InstaFame LED light can be attached to various devices:

• To a Camera (DSLR/Mirrorless): Use the included Shoe Adaptor. Attach the adaptor to the cold-shoe mount on your camera, then slide the LED light onto the adaptor.
• To a Smartphone: Attach the Smart Phone Holder to your smartphone. The holder has a cold-shoe mount where you can slide the LED light. The smartphone adapter also features an additional shoe mount for attaching a microphone simultaneously.
• To a Tripod: The LED light features a universal 1/4-inch tripod mount at its base, allowing direct attachment to most tripods or light stands.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

Locate the Power On/Off Button on the side of the LED light. Press and hold the button for a few seconds to turn the light on or off.

2. Adjusting Brightness

Once powered on, short press the Power On/Off Button to cycle through the three available brightness levels. Select the level that best suits your lighting needs.

3. Using Color Diffusers

The InstaFame LED light comes with three color diffusers (warm, cool, neutral) to modify the light's color temperature. To use a diffuser, gently slide it into the slots on the front of the LED light until it clicks into place. Remove by sliding it out.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Wipe the LED light and accessories with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Keep the device free from dust and moisture.

Battery Care

To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge the device regularly, even if not in use for extended periods. Store in a cool, dry place.

Troubleshooting

• Light does not turn on:
  • Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the light to a power source using the Micro USB cable.
  • Press and hold the Power On/Off Button for a few seconds to ensure it's properly activated.
• Light is dim or flickers:
  • The battery may be low. Recharge the device.
  • Ensure no obstructions are covering the LED panel.
• Cannot attach to camera/phone:
  • Ensure you are using the correct adaptor (Shoe Adaptor for camera, Smart Phone Holder for phone).
  • Verify that the mounts are clean and free of debris.
