Important Safety Instructions

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the following:

• Keep hands and utensils out of the container while blending to reduce the risk of severe injury to persons or damage to the blender. A scraper may be used but only when the blender is not running.
• Blades are sharp. Handle with care.
• Always operate the blender with the lid in place.
• Do not blend hot liquids.

1. Lid: Secures the blending jar during operation.

Setup and First Use

1. Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
2. Clean: Before first use, wash the blending jar and lid in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor base in water.
3. Assemble: Place the motor base on a clean, dry, and stable surface.

Operating Instructions

This personal blender features a single speed setting for efficient blending.

1. Add Ingredients: Place your desired ingredients into the blending jar. Ensure ingredients do not exceed the 14 oz (400 ml) maximum fill line. For best results, add liquids first, then soft ingredients, and finally harder ingredients or ice.
2. Secure Lid: Place the lid firmly onto the blending jar.
3. Place Jar on Base: Align the blending jar with the motor base and twist clockwise until it locks securely into place.
4. Plug In: Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet (240 Volts).
5. Blend: Press and hold the "POWER + PULSE" button to begin blending. Release the button to stop. For continuous blending, you may need to hold the button down. Use short pulses for controlled blending or to break up larger pieces. Do not operate continuously for more than 60 seconds to prevent motor overheating. Allow the blender to rest for several minutes between cycles if blending for extended periods.
6. Finish Blending: Once desired consistency is reached, release the button and unplug the blender from the outlet.
7. Remove Jar: Twist the blending jar counter-clockwise to unlock it from the motor base, then lift it off.
8. Serve: Remove the lid and pour your blended creation.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Proper cleaning ensures the longevity and hygiene of your blender.

1. Unplug: Always ensure the blender is unplugged from the power outlet before cleaning.
2. Clean Jar and Lid: Wash the blending jar and lid immediately after use. They can be washed by hand with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge. Rinse thoroughly. The stainless steel blade assembly is integrated into the jar; exercise caution when cleaning around the blades.
3. Clean Motor Base: Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor base in water or any other liquid.
4. Stubborn Residue: For stubborn residue in the jar, fill it with warm water and a drop of dish soap, secure the lid, and pulse for a few seconds. Then rinse thoroughly.
5. Storage: Store the clean and dry blender in a safe place.
