Setup
1. Battery Installation
The alarm clock requires batteries for operation (not included). Locate the battery compartment on the back of the device. Insert the required batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and - terminals). Close the battery compartment cover securely.
2. Initial Power On and Radio Control Synchronization
Upon battery installation, the clock will automatically begin searching for the DCF radio signal to synchronize the time and date. This process may take several minutes. Place the clock in an area with good reception, away from electronic interference. Once synchronized, the radio control icon will appear on the display.
If the signal is not received, the time can be set manually (refer to "Manual Time Setting" in the Operating Instructions section).
Operating Instructions
The RDC-3006 features touch-sensitive keys located at the bottom of the display. These keys are labeled and respond to light touch.
1. Manual Time Setting (if radio control is unavailable or desired)
- Press and hold the MODE touch key until the time display begins to flash.
- Use the + or - touch keys to adjust the hour.
- Press MODE again to move to minute adjustment, then use + or -.
- Continue pressing MODE to cycle through year, month, date, and day of the week settings, adjusting each with + or -.
- Press MODE one last time to exit setting mode.
2. 12/24 Hour Format Selection
In normal time display mode, press the + touch key to switch between 12-hour (with AM/PM indicator) and 24-hour formats.
3. Setting Alarms (Dual Alarm)
- Press the MODE touch key repeatedly until "AL1" or "AL2" appears on the display.
- Press and hold MODE until the alarm time flashes.
- Use + or - to set the desired alarm hour.
- Press MODE to move to minute adjustment, then use + or -.
- Press MODE to confirm and exit alarm setting.
- To activate/deactivate an alarm, press the alarm icon touch key (bell symbol) in normal time display mode until the desired alarm icon appears/disappears.
4. Snooze Function
When an alarm sounds, touch any key to activate the snooze function. The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after approximately 5 minutes. To stop the alarm completely, press and hold the alarm icon touch key.
5. Temperature Display (°F/°C)
In normal time display mode, press the - touch key to switch the indoor temperature display between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).
6. Backlight Activation

The display features a backlight for improved visibility. Briefly touch any key to activate the backlight. It will remain illuminated for a short period before dimming.
Maintenance
Cleaning
Wipe the device with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the display or casing.
Battery Replacement
When the display becomes dim or the clock functions erratically, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the "Battery Installation" steps in the Setup section to replace old batteries with new ones.
Troubleshooting
