Introduction

The Scalextric C4182 Mustang GT4 is a highly detailed 1:32 scale slot car model. This model accurately replicates the Mustang GT4 that competed in the British GT championship, featuring the distinctive livery of the New Performance RACE team with drivers Aron Taylor-Smith and Sam Smelt. Designed for enthusiasts and collectors, this slot car is compatible with standard Scalextric tracks and systems, including ARC AIR and Spark Plug.

Safety Information

Setup

  1. Track Assembly: Ensure your Scalextric track is correctly assembled and all connections are firm. Refer to your Scalextric track system manual for detailed assembly instructions.
  2. Power Connection: Connect the power supply to the track power base as per your track system's instructions. Ensure the power is switched off before placing cars on the track.
  3. Placing the Car on the Track: Carefully align the guide blade of the C4182 Mustang GT4 into the slot of the track. Ensure both braids beneath the guide blade make good contact with the metal rails of the track.
  4. Controller Connection: Connect your hand controllers to the power base.

Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Once the car is correctly placed on the track and controllers are connected, switch on the power supply to the track.
  2. Driving: Use the hand controller to regulate the speed of the car. Press the trigger to accelerate and release to slow down. Practice gentle acceleration and braking to maintain control, especially through corners.
  3. Features: The C4182 Mustang GT4 features working lights for enhanced realism during operation. It also incorporates Magnatraction technology for improved grip and stability on the track.
  4. Digital Compatibility: This model is equipped with a digital plug, allowing for easy conversion to digital racing systems (e.g., Scalextric Digital) with the appropriate digital chip (sold separately).
