2. Safety Instructions

To ensure safe operation and prevent damage, please observe the following safety precautions:

4. Product Overview

5. Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future transport or storage if needed.
2. Battery Installation:
   • Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the sensor lid.
   • Open the battery cover.
   • Insert 6 x AA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
   • Close the battery cover securely.
3. Lid Attachment: Place the sensor lid securely onto the main bin body. Ensure it is properly aligned.
4. Inner Bucket Placement: Insert the upper inner buckets into their designated slots. Slide the lower drawer with its two inner buckets into the bottom section of the bin.
5. Placement: Position the bin on a flat, stable surface. Ensure there is enough clearance above the lid for it to open fully without obstruction. The anti-slip feet will help keep the bin stable.

6. Operating Instructions

Using the Sensor

• Once batteries are installed, the sensor is active.
• To open the lid, simply wave your hand or an object within 15-20 cm (6-8 inches) of the sensor located on the front of the lid.
• The lid will open automatically and remain open for approximately 5 seconds.
• After 5 seconds of inactivity, the lid will close automatically.
• To keep the lid open for longer, press the "OPEN" button on the lid. To close it manually, press the "CLOSE" button.

• Upper Main Compartment (40L): Ideal for general household waste.
• Upper Small Compartment (8L): Suitable for organic waste or small recycling items.

7. Maintenance

Cleaning

• To clean the exterior of the bin, wipe with a soft, damp cloth and mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
• The inner buckets are removable for easy cleaning. Wash them with soap and water, then dry thoroughly before returning them to the bin.
