This device provides accurate indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity readings, a radio-controlled clock, and weather forecasts. Please read this manual carefully before operating the device to ensure proper use and to maximize its lifespan.

5. Setup

5.1. Battery Installation

Main Unit:

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the main unit.
  2. Insert 2 x AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment cover.

Outdoor Sensor:

  1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the outdoor sensor.
  2. Insert 2 x AA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery compartment cover.

Note: It is recommended to insert batteries into the outdoor sensor first, then the main unit, to ensure proper synchronization.

5.2. Sensor Pairing and Placement

Once batteries are installed, the main unit will automatically search for the outdoor sensor. This process may take a few minutes. Ensure the sensor is within range (up to 30 meters in open air) and not obstructed by large metal objects or thick walls.

Outdoor Sensor Placement:

5.3. Initial Time Synchronization

The weather station will attempt to synchronize its clock with the DCF (Germany) or WWVB (USA) radio signal automatically. This process can take several hours, especially during initial setup. Place the main unit near a window for better reception. Once synchronized, a signal icon will appear on the display.

6.2. Button Functions

The main unit typically has buttons on the back or side for various settings. Common buttons include:

6.3. Setting Time and Date Manually (if radio control fails)

  1. Hold the MODE/SET button for approximately 3 seconds until the time display flashes.
  2. Use the +/UP or -/DOWN buttons to adjust the hour.
  3. Press MODE/SET to confirm and move to the next setting (minutes, year, month, day, 12/24 hour format).
  4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until all settings are configured.
  5. Press MODE/SET to exit setting mode.

6.4. Temperature Unit Selection

Press the °C/°F button to switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) temperature units.

6.5. Weather Forecast

The weather station provides a 12-24 hour weather forecast based on atmospheric pressure changes. The icons displayed are:
