- Use only the specified battery types (AAA for main unit, AA for sensor).
- Dispose of used batteries responsibly according to local regulations.
- Keep the device out of reach of children.
5. Setup
5.1. Battery Installation
Main Unit:
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the main unit.
- Insert 2 x AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover.
Outdoor Sensor:
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the outdoor sensor.
- Insert 2 x AA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover.
Note: It is recommended to insert batteries into the outdoor sensor first, then the main unit, to ensure proper synchronization.
5.2. Sensor Pairing and Placement
Once batteries are installed, the main unit will automatically search for the outdoor sensor. This process may take a few minutes. Ensure the sensor is within range (up to 30 meters in open air) and not obstructed by large metal objects or thick walls.

Outdoor Sensor Placement:
- Choose a shaded, dry location to avoid direct sunlight and rain, which can affect temperature readings.
- Ensure good air circulation around the sensor.
- Mount the sensor vertically, away from heat sources or vents.
5.3. Initial Time Synchronization
The weather station will attempt to synchronize its clock with the DCF (Germany) or WWVB (USA) radio signal automatically. This process can take several hours, especially during initial setup. Place the main unit near a window for better reception. Once synchronized, a signal icon will appear on the display.
6. Operating Instructions
6.1. Display Overview

Image: The main unit's LCD display showing current time, indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity, and a weather forecast icon (partly cloudy).
The large LCD display shows the following information:
- Top Section: Outdoor temperature and humidity, weather forecast icons.
- Middle Section: Indoor temperature and humidity.
- Bottom Section: Current time, date, and radio control signal indicator.
6.2. Button Functions
The main unit typically has buttons on the back or side for various settings. Common buttons include:
- MODE/SET: Press to cycle through display modes (e.g., time, alarm) or hold to enter setting mode.
- +/UP: Adjust values up in setting mode, or view max/min records.
- -/DOWN: Adjust values down in setting mode, or view max/min records.
- °C/°F: Toggle between Celsius and Fahrenheit temperature display.
- LIGHT/SNOOZE: Activate backlight (short press), or snooze alarm (when alarm sounds).
- CHANNEL: If using multiple outdoor sensors, press to switch between channels.
6.3. Setting Time and Date Manually (if radio control fails)
- Hold the MODE/SET button for approximately 3 seconds until the time display flashes.
- Use the +/UP or -/DOWN buttons to adjust the hour.

- Repeat steps 2 and 3 until all settings are configured.
- Press MODE/SET to exit setting mode.
6.4. Temperature Unit Selection
Press the °C/°F button to switch between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F) temperature units.
6.5. Weather Forecast
The weather station provides a 12-24 hour weather forecast based on atmospheric pressure changes. The icons displayed are:
- Sunny
- Partly Cloudy
- Cloudy
- Rainy
- Snowy
Note: The weather forecast is an estimation and may not always be 100% accurate. It is based on local pressure trends and not on satellite data.
7. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the main unit and sensor with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the low battery indicator appears on the display. Always replace all batteries at the same time.
- Storage: If storing the device for an extended period, remove all batteries to prevent leakage.
8. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No display on main unit. | Batteries are dead or incorrectly inserted. | Check battery polarity, replace with new batteries. |
| Outdoor temperature/humidity not displayed. | Sensor not paired, out of range, or batteries low. | Re-insert batteries in both units, ensure sensor is within range, replace sensor batteries. |
| Time not synchronizing. | Weak radio signal, interference. | Move main unit closer to a window, away from electronic devices. Allow several hours for synchronization. |
| Inaccurate temperature readings. | Sensor exposed to direct sunlight or heat sources. | Relocate outdoor sensor to a shaded, well-ventilated area. |
