This manual provides essential instructions for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your Bagtecs XB50 bag to ensure optimal performance, durability, and safe use.

2. Safety Instructions

  • Do not overload the bag beyond its intended capacity or the motorcycle's weight limits.
  • Distribute weight evenly within the bag to maintain motorcycle balance.
  • Regularly inspect all straps, buckles, and the bag material for any signs of wear, damage, or fatigue. Replace damaged components immediately.
  • Ensure the bag does not obstruct any motorcycle lights, indicators, mirrors, or interfere with the rider's or passenger's movement.
  • Adjust the bag's position to prevent contact with hot exhaust components.

4. Setup and Installation

The Bagtecs XB50 bag is designed for universal fitment on most motorcycles, attaching to either the passenger seat or a luggage rack.

  1. Position the Bag: Place the Bagtecs XB50 bag on the passenger seat or luggage rack of your motorcycle. Ensure it is centered and does not interfere with the motorcycle's operation or rider/passenger comfort.
  2. Attach Tension Straps: Use the four provided tension straps. Each strap has a buttonhole on one end and a clip fastening on the other. Secure the buttonhole end to the designated attachment points on the bag.
  3. Secure to Motorcycle: Route the straps around a secure part of your motorcycle's frame, passenger footpeg mounts, or luggage rack. Connect the clip fastening end of each strap to a corresponding point on the bag or to another part of the strap, creating a secure loop.
  4. Tighten Straps: Pull the straps firmly to eliminate slack and secure the bag tightly to the motorcycle. Ensure the bag does not shift or move when tugged. Double-check all four straps for proper tension.
  5. Final Check: Before riding, perform a final visual and physical check to confirm the bag is stable and all straps are securely fastened and not loose. Ensure no straps are dangling or can get caught in moving parts.

Important: Please review the product images and measure your motorcycle's available space to confirm the bag can be safely and securely attached to your specific model. This is a universal item, and listed models are examples only.

  • Open the roll-top closure by unbuckling the side clips and unrolling the top opening.
  • Place your items inside the bag. Distribute weight evenly to maintain balance.
  • Avoid placing sharp objects directly against the bag's interior without adequate padding to prevent damage.

5.2 Securing the Waterproof Closure

The Bagtecs XB50 features a roll-top closure system designed to reliably prevent water entry, even during prolonged exposure to heavy rain.

  1. Roll Down: After loading, firmly roll the top opening of the bag down at least three times. Ensure the rolls are tight and even.
