Setup

1. Battery Installation

The Nerf Mega Motostryke requires 4 C batteries (not included) for motorized operation. To install batteries:

  1. Locate the battery compartment, typically on the side or bottom of the blaster.
  2. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert 4 C batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Replace the cover and tighten the screw.

2. Loading the Dart Clip

The blaster uses a removable 10-dart clip:

  1. Load the 10 Official Nerf Mega darts into the clear clip. Ensure darts are inserted correctly and fully seated.
  2. Insert the loaded clip into the blaster's magazine well until it clicks securely into place.

Operating the Blaster

To operate your Nerf Mega Motostryke blaster:

  1. Hold the blaster firmly.
  2. Press and hold the acceleration button (typically located below the main trigger) to power up the motor. You will hear the motor whirring.
  3. While holding the acceleration button, pull the main trigger to fire a dart.
  4. Release and pull the trigger again to fire subsequent darts. The blaster will continue to fire as long as the acceleration button is held and darts are available in the clip.

  • Make sure the acceleration button is held down completely before pulling the main trigger.
  • Check for any jammed darts in the firing mechanism. Clear any obstructions carefully.

Darts Not Firing Consistently:

  • Ensure only Official Nerf Mega darts are used. Worn or damaged darts may not fire correctly.
  • Check that darts are fully loaded into the clip and not bent or damaged.
