5. Setup and Installation
5.1 Unpacking and Inspection
Carefully unpack the VFD and inspect it for any signs of damage during transit. Ensure all components listed in the package list are present: 1 x Inverter, 1 x Panel Mounting Box, 1 x 1M Cable, 1 x Users Manual (English).
5.2 Mounting
Mount the VFD in a well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight, excessive dust, moisture, and corrosive gases. Ensure adequate clearance around the unit for proper heat dissipation. The VFD is designed for molded case installation.
5.3 Wiring Connections
All wiring should be performed by qualified personnel and in accordance with local electrical codes. Ensure the main power supply is disconnected before making any connections.
- Input Power (L, N): Connect the single-phase 220V AC input to the designated input terminals.
- Motor Output (U, V, W): Connect the 3-phase motor to the output terminals U, V, W.
- Ground (GND): Ensure the VFD is properly grounded to prevent electric shock and ensure stable operation.
- Control Terminals: Connect external control signals (e.g., 0-5V/0-10V analog voltage, 0-20mA current signal) to the respective control terminals for speed control or other functions. Refer to the detailed wiring diagram in the included paper manual for specific terminal assignments.
