Setup

1. Battery Installation

Open the battery compartment cover located on the underside of the scale.
Insert the two AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
Close the battery compartment cover securely.

2. Initial Placement

Place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface. Avoid placing it on soft, uneven, or vibrating surfaces, as this can affect accuracy.

3. Calibration

For optimal accuracy, calibrate the scale before first use and periodically thereafter. Instructions are also printed on the inside cover of the scale.

Turn the scale ON by pressing the ON/OFF button.
Wait for the display to show "0.00g".
Press and hold the M (Mode) button until the display shows "CAL".
Release the M button. The display will then flash the required calibration weight (e.g., "50.00g").
Place the included 50g calibration weight precisely in the center of the weighing platform.
The display will show "PASS" and then return to normal weighing mode (0.00g). Calibration is complete.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

Press the ON/OFF button to turn the scale on.
Press and hold the ON/OFF button for a few seconds to turn the scale off. The scale will also automatically shut off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery life.

2. Unit Conversion

Press the M (Mode) button to cycle through the available weighing units:

g (grams)
oz (ounces)
gn (grains)
dwt (pennyweights)
ct (carats)
ozt (troy ounces)

3. Tare Function

The Tare function allows you to subtract the weight of a container, so you only measure the net weight of the contents.

Place an empty container on the weighing platform.
Press the T (Tare) button. The display will reset to "0.00g" (or the selected unit).
Place the items to be weighed into the container. The display will show only the weight of the items.
To clear the tare, remove all items from the platform and press the T button again.

4. Weighing Items

Turn on the scale and ensure it displays "0.00g".
If using a container, perform the Tare function as described above.
Carefully place the item(s) to be weighed onto the center of the weighing platform.
Read the stable weight displayed on the LCD screen.

Maintenance

Cleaning: Wipe the scale with a slightly damp cloth. Do not immerse the scale in water or use abrasive cleaners.
Storage: Store the scale in a clean, dry environment. Avoid extreme temperatures and humidity. Keep the protective cover closed when not in use.
Battery Replacement: If the display shows a low battery indicator or becomes dim, replace both AAA batteries with new ones.
Handle with Care: This is a precision instrument. Avoid dropping the scale or subjecting it to sudden shocks, as this can damage the internal sensor.

Troubleshooting
