- Always disconnect the power cable before cleaning.
- Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces of the unit.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or chemical sprays, as these can damage the finish.
7.2 Tube Replacement (Advanced Users)
- The vacuum tubes (5Z3P and ECC82) have a finite lifespan and may require replacement over time.
- If you experience a significant degradation in sound quality or tube failure, replacement may be necessary.
- Caution: Tube replacement should only be performed by experienced individuals or qualified technicians. Ensure the unit is powered off and unplugged, and the tubes have completely cooled down before attempting removal or installation. Refer to specific tube replacement guides or consult xDuoo support for detailed instructions.
7.3 Storage
- If the unit will not be used for an extended period, disconnect it from the power supply and store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
8. Troubleshooting
- No Power:
- Check if the power cable is securely connected to both the unit and the wall outlet.
- Ensure the ON/OFF switch on the rear panel is in the 'ON' position.
- Verify the wall outlet is functioning correctly.
- No Sound from Headphones:
- Confirm that headphones are fully plugged into the 6.35mm jack.
- Check the volume knob position; ensure it is not set to minimum.
- Verify the correct input source is selected (USB, Coaxial, Optical, or Bluetooth).
- Ensure your source device is playing audio and its volume is not muted or too low.
- Bluetooth Connection Issues:
- Ensure the TA-30 is in Bluetooth input mode.
- Make sure the Bluetooth antenna is securely attached.
- Try unpairing and re-pairing the TA-30 from your source device's Bluetooth settings.
- Ensure your source device is within range of the TA-30.
- Distorted or Poor Sound Quality:
- Check all audio cables for secure connections and damage.
- Ensure the audio source is of good quality.
- If using USB, ensure the correct audio drivers are installed on your computer (if required).
- Consider the age and condition of the vacuum tubes; they may need replacement if sound quality has degraded significantly over time.
- Volume Imbalance at Low Levels:
- Some analog volume potentiometers may exhibit slight channel imbalance at very low volume settings. This is a characteristic of certain potentiometer designs. If this is noticeable, try increasing the volume slightly and adjusting the source volume if possible.
