5. Setup and Installation

5.2 Reversing Camera Installation

For vehicles equipped with a reversing camera, follow these steps for connection:

  1. Connect the orange/black wire (labeled 'BACK') from the stereo's power harness to the trigger wire of the camera's connection cable.
  2. Provide power to the reverse light (red wire) and ensure the ground wire (black wire) is correctly connected.
  3. Connect the yellow RCA video cable from the camera to the 'Reversing Camera Input' (yellow jack) on the stereo's rear interface.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Basic Operation

  • Power On/Off: Press the power button (usually the volume knob) to turn the unit on or off.
  • Volume Control: Rotate the volume knob or use the touch screen controls to adjust the volume.
  • Screen Retraction: Manually push or pull the screen to retract or extend it.

6.2 Apple CarPlay & Android Auto

6.3 Mirror Link

Mirror Link allows you to project your smartphone's screen onto the car stereo display, enabling online navigation and other apps.

  • Connect your phone via original USB cable.
  • Open settings and select 'i-Mirror' for iPhone or 'A-Link' for Android.
  • For Android, you may need to install the Autolink software as prompted.
