Important Notice: Firmware Update

The latest firmware includes bug fixes and performance optimizations. It is recommended to connect your XOSS G GPS Bike Computer to the XOSS app upon receipt to check for and install any available firmware updates.

1. Setup

1.1 Package Contents

Verify that all components are present in the package:

• XOSS G GPS Bike Computer
• Rubber Bands for mounting
• Rubber Gasket
• Bike Computer Mount
• USB Cable

1.2 Mounting the Device

The XOSS G GPS Bike Computer can be easily mounted on your bicycle's stem or handlebar using the provided mount, rubber bands, and rubber gasket.

1.3 Initial Power On and GPS Acquisition

1. Long press the right button to turn on the device.
2. Press the left button to initiate GPS signal search. The GPS icon will flash while searching.
3. Once the GPS signal is acquired, the GPS icon will appear solid, and a beep will sound, indicating the device is ready.

For optimal GPS signal acquisition, ensure the device remains static and is used in an open, barrier-free area. The first location fix may take at least 30 seconds.

1.4 Setting Metric or Imperial System

To switch between metric (km/h) and imperial (mph) units:

1. Long press both the left and right buttons simultaneously to enter the P1 interface.
2. Press the left button to toggle between metric and imperial units.
3. Long press the right button to exit the setting interface.

1.5 Setting Time Zone

To set the correct time zone:

1. Long press both the left and right buttons simultaneously to enter the P1 interface.
2. Press the right button to navigate to the P2 interface for time zone settings.
3. Use the left button to adjust the time zone number (e.g., -8 for PST, -5 for EST).
4. Use the right button to switch between positions (e.g., hours, minutes).
5. Long press the right button to exit the setting interface. The local time will automatically synchronize after GPS acquisition.

2. Operation

2.1 Button Functions

The XOSS G GPS Bike Computer features two primary buttons for control:

• Right Button:
  • Long press to Power ON/OFF.
  • Short press to switch between data display pages.
• Left Button:
  • Press to activate GPS (when GPS icon flashes).
  • Press to START/PAUSE recording.
  • Long press to END recording (data is automatically saved when turning off).

2.2 Displaying Multiple Data

The 1.8-inch HD screen with automatic backlight allows for easy reading of various cycling data. Press the right button to cycle through different data pages, which can include:

• Current Speed (SPD)
• Average Speed (AVG)
• Maximum Speed (MAX)
• Time (elapsed ride time)
• Clock (current time)
• Altitude (ALT)
• Distance (DIST)
• Grade (GRD)
• Odometer (ODO)

2.3 Connecting to the XOSS App and Strava Sync

The XOSS G GPS Bike Computer automatically records data after acquiring a GPS signal. After your ride, you can connect the device to the XOSS app via Bluetooth to upload your ride data. The XOSS app also supports synchronization with Strava, allowing you to share your activities.

1. Download the XOSS app from the App Store or Google Play.
2. Open the XOSS app and connect to your XOSS G computer.
3. Upload your ride data from the device to the app.
4. If desired, synchronize your XOSS app with your Strava account to share your cycling activities.

3. Maintenance

3.1 Battery Life and Charging

The XOSS G GPS Bike Computer is equipped with a 500mAh rechargeable lithium battery, providing up to 25 hours of usage on a full charge. Recharge the device using the provided USB cable.

3.2 Waterproof Rating

The device has an IPX7 waterproof rating, allowing it to function in rainy conditions. Ensure the USB rubber plug of the charging port is securely closed to maintain water resistance.

4. Troubleshooting

4.1 GPS Signal Issues

If the device struggles to acquire a GPS signal:

• Ensure you are in an open area with a clear view of the sky, free from tall buildings or dense tree cover.
• Keep the device static during initial GPS search.
• The device supports GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo positioning for improved accuracy.

4.2 XOSS App Connection Problems

If you experience difficulty connecting the bike computer to the XOSS app:

• Restart your phone's Bluetooth.
• Restart the bike computer.
• Ensure the XOSS app is updated to the latest version.

4.3 Data Unit Discrepancies in App

If the data units in the XOSS app differ from the device:

• Adjust the unit settings within the XOSS app's settings menu.

4.4 Indoor Use Limitations

This product relies on GPS positioning. GPS signals are typically weak indoors, and the device requires geographical movement to track data accurately. Therefore, it is not supported for indoor spinning bikes or bike trainers.
