5.7 Temperature Monitoring and Alerts
The baby unit includes a temperature sensor. The current room temperature is displayed on the parent unit. You can set alerts for high or low room temperatures.
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the monitor and cameras. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Care: To prolong the parent unit's battery life, avoid fully discharging it frequently. Charge it regularly, especially if not in use for extended periods.
- Storage: If storing the unit for a long time, ensure it is fully charged and stored in a cool, dry place.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause / Solution |
|---|---|
| No image/signal on parent unit | Ensure both parent and baby units are powered on and within range (up to 960 feet open space). Check power connections. Re-pair units if necessary (refer to user guide for pairing instructions). |
| Poor image quality (blurry/hazy) | Check camera lens for dirt or smudges and clean gently. Ensure adequate lighting for day vision. Night vision quality may vary based on ambient light. |
| No audio or distorted audio | Adjust volume on the parent unit. Ensure no obstructions are blocking the microphone or speaker on either unit. Check for interference from other 2.4GHz devices. |
| Parent unit battery drains quickly | Ensure ECO mode is enabled. Reduce screen brightness. Battery life can be up to 10 hours in ECO mode and 6 hours in regular mode. Battery performance may degrade over time. |
| Camera pan/tilt unresponsive or noisy | Ensure camera is on a stable surface. Check for any physical obstructions. If issues persist, contact customer support. |
