4. Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all components from the packaging.
- Connect Probes: Select either the facial probe or the body probe and securely attach it to the handle. Refer to Figure 3.2 for guidance.
- Connect Handle Cable: Insert the handle cable into the designated jack on the rear of the main unit.
- Connect Power: Plug the power cord into the power cord jack on the rear of the main unit, then connect the other end to a suitable power outlet.
- Power On: Flip the host switch on the rear of the unit to the 'ON' position.
5. Operating Instructions
Follow these steps for an effective treatment:
- Cleanse Skin: Ensure the treatment area (face or body) is clean and dry before application.
- Apply Conductive Gel: Apply a generous layer of conductive gel to the area you intend to treat. The gel is essential for the RF waves to penetrate the skin effectively and for comfortable use. Reapply gel as needed to maintain smooth gliding of the probe.
- Select Intensity Level: Use the 'Gear button' on the main unit to select your desired intensity level (1-3). Start with a lower level and gradually increase as your skin tolerates it.
- Set Treatment Time: Use the 'Time button' to set the desired treatment duration, typically 10-15 minutes per area.
- Begin Treatment: Place the probe gently on the skin. Move the device in slow, circular motions, from bottom to top and from inside to outside. Do not hold the device in one spot for more than 2 seconds.
- Monitor Skin Temperature: The device features a safety system that automatically adjusts energy based on skin temperature. If you feel the device becoming too hot, it will automatically reduce the heat level. You can also manually reduce the intensity.
- Complete Treatment: Once the set time has elapsed, the device will stop. Turn off the device using the host switch.
- Cleanse After Use: Wipe off any remaining gel from your skin and the device.
