5. Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
Wipe the exterior of the safe with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish. The interior felt lining can be gently vacuumed if needed.

Replace the AA batteries annually or when the low battery indicator (if present) illuminates. Always use new, high-quality alkaline batteries. If the batteries die completely, use the emergency keys to access the safe.
6. Troubleshooting
- Safe will not open with digital code:
- Ensure batteries are fresh and correctly installed.
- Verify you are entering the correct 3-8 digit code.
- If the keypad is locked due to multiple incorrect entries, wait for the lockout period to expire.
- Use the emergency key to open the safe.
- Alarm sounds unexpectedly:
- This indicates three consecutive incorrect code entries. The alarm will cease after the lockout period.
- Keypad is unresponsive:
- Check battery power. Replace batteries if necessary.
- Ensure no debris is obstructing the buttons.
