Setup
Initial Charging of Your powerstation XL/2
Before first use, fully charge your powerstation XL/2. Use the provided USB-A to USB-C charging cable to connect the powerstation's USB-C port to a compatible USB wall adapter (not included). The LED indicators will illuminate to show the charging status.
- Connect the small end of the USB-A to USB-C cable to the USB-C input/output port on the powerstation.
- Connect the large end of the USB-A to USB-C cable to a USB wall adapter.
- The LED indicator lights will begin to flash, indicating that the powerstation is charging.
- All four LED lights will be solid when the powerstation is fully charged.
Understanding the LED Power Indicator
The powerstation XL/2 features a four-light LED indicator system to display its charge level and charging status. Press the power button once to check the current battery level.

Operating Your powerstation XL/2
Charging Your Devices
The powerstation XL/2 is equipped with both a USB-C port and a USB-A port, allowing you to charge a variety of devices. You can charge two devices simultaneously.

- Connect your device's charging cable to the appropriate port on the powerstation (USB-C or USB-A).
- Connect the other end of the cable to your device.
- The powerstation will automatically begin charging your device. If it does not, press the power button once.
- The LED indicators on the powerstation will show its remaining battery level while charging your device.
Note: The USB-C port on the powerstation XL/2 functions as both an input for charging the powerstation itself and an output for charging your devices.
Maintenance
Cleaning
To clean your powerstation XL/2, gently wipe the exterior with a soft, lint-free cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or excessive moisture, as these can damage the device.
Storage
Store the powerstation in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. For long-term storage, it is recommended to charge the powerstation to approximately 50% every three months to maintain battery health.
Battery Care
- Do not expose the powerstation to water or other liquids.
- Avoid dropping or subjecting the powerstation to strong impacts.
- Do not attempt to disassemble, open, or service the powerstation yourself. This will void the warranty and may result in injury.
- Dispose of the powerstation responsibly according to local regulations for lithium-polymer batteries.
Troubleshooting
Powerstation Not Charging
- Ensure the charging cable is securely connected to both the powerstation's USB-C port and the wall adapter.
- Verify that the wall adapter is functioning correctly and plugged into a live power outlet.
- Try using a different USB-C charging cable or wall adapter.
Device Not Charging from Powerstation
- Check if the powerstation has sufficient charge (press the power button to check LEDs).
- Ensure your device's charging cable is securely connected to both the powerstation and your device.
- Try pressing the power button on the powerstation to initiate charging.
- Test with a different charging cable for your device.
- Ensure your device is compatible with USB-C or USB-A charging.
LED Indicators Not Functioning
- If the LEDs do not light up when the power button is pressed, the powerstation may be completely depleted. Connect it to a power source for charging.
- If issues persist, contact mophie customer support.
