4. Initial Setup

4.1. Unpacking

Carefully remove the watch from its packaging. Inspect it for any visible damage.

4.2. Winding the Watch

Your LIGE watch features an automatic mechanical movement. It winds itself through the motion of your wrist. However, if the watch has stopped or has not been worn for an extended period, it may require manual winding:

• Ensure the crown is in its original, pushed-in position (Position 0).
• Turn the crown clockwise approximately 20-30 times. This will provide enough power reserve to start the watch.
• Once worn, the watch will continue to wind automatically with your daily activities.

4.3. Setting the Time

• Pull the crown out to Position 2 (the outermost position). The second hand will stop.
• Turn the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to set the hour and minute hands to the desired time. Pay attention to the 24-hour indicator to distinguish between AM and PM.
• Once the time is set, push the crown back into Position 0. The second hand will resume movement.

4.4. Setting the Date and Day

The watch features separate sub-dials for the date and day of the week, adjusted via hidden pushers on the side of the watch case.

• Setting the Date: Use a small, pointed tool (like a toothpick or SIM ejector tool) to gently press the hidden pusher located on the side of the watch case, typically near the 2 o'clock or 4 o'clock position. Each press will advance the date by one day.
• Setting the Day of the Week: Similarly, locate the hidden pusher for the day of the week, typically near the 8 o'clock or 10 o'clock position. Each press will advance the day by one.
• Important: Avoid adjusting the date or day between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this is when the watch's internal mechanisms are engaged in changing the date, and manual adjustment can cause damage. If you need to set the date/day during this period, first set the time outside this window (e.g., to 6 AM), then adjust the date/day, and finally reset the time to the current time.

4.5. Adjusting the Moon Phase/24-Hour Display

The moon phase or 24-hour display (depending on the specific dial design) is typically linked to the main time setting. As you set the time, this indicator will advance accordingly. There is usually no separate adjustment for this feature.

5. Operating Your Watch

Once set up, your LIGE watch operates continuously as long as it is worn regularly or manually wound.

5.1. Timekeeping

The watch displays the current time using its hour, minute, and second hands. The automatic movement ensures continuous operation as long as there is sufficient power reserve.

5.2. Using the Calendar Functions

The date and day of the week will automatically advance at midnight. If the watch stops and restarts, you may need to manually adjust these using the hidden pushers as described in Section 4.4.
