Setup

Battery Installation

The alarm clock requires one (1) AA battery (not included) for operation.

1. Locate the battery compartment on the back of the clock.
2. Open the battery compartment cover.
3. Insert one (1) AA battery, ensuring the polarity (+/-) matches the indicators inside the compartment.
4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

Operating Instructions

1. Setting the Time

To set the current time:

• Locate the Time Knob on the back of the clock (usually the knob on the left when facing the back).
• Rotate the Time Knob clockwise or counter-clockwise until the hour and minute hands display the correct time.

2. Setting the Alarm

To set the alarm time:

• Locate the Alarm Knob on the back of the clock (usually the knob on the right when facing the back).
• Rotate the Alarm Knob until the small alarm hand points to your desired wake-up time.
• Ensure the Alarm ON/OFF Switch (a small switch next to the alarm knob) is in the "ON" position for the alarm to activate.

3. Using the Backlight

To illuminate the clock face in the dark:

• Press and hold the Light Button located on the back of the clock (a white button near the top).
• The dial will light up. Release the button to turn off the backlight and conserve battery life.

Maintenance

• Clean the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Avoid exposing the clock to extreme temperatures, direct sunlight, or high humidity.
• Replace the AA battery annually or when the clock's performance (timekeeping accuracy, alarm loudness, backlight brightness) diminishes.
• If the clock will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery to prevent leakage.

Troubleshooting

Clock Not Working / Time Inaccurate:

• Check if the battery is inserted correctly with the correct polarity.
• Replace with a fresh AA battery.
• Ensure the time knob is not accidentally moved.

Alarm Not Sounding:

• Verify that the Alarm ON/OFF Switch on the back is in the "ON" position.
• Confirm that the alarm hand is set to the desired time.
• Check and replace the battery if necessary.

Alarm Too Quiet:

• The alarm is designed to be loud. If it seems quiet, the battery may be low. Replace with a fresh AA battery.
• Ensure the clock is placed on a stable, flat surface to allow the bells to resonate properly.
