Setup

Operating Instructions

Charging Batteries

1. Insert Batteries: Insert one or more AA or AAA Ni-MH/Ni-CD rechargeable batteries into the charging slots. Ensure the positive (+) and negative (-) ends of the batteries align correctly with the markings in the charger slots.
2. Monitor LCD Display: The LCD display will activate and show the charging status for each inserted battery.
   • ≤40% Flashing: Battery is charging and has less than 40% charge.
   • ≤80% Flashing: Battery is charging and has between 40% and 80% charge.
   • Solid Fully Charged Icon: Battery is fully charged. The charger will automatically stop charging.
   • Keeping Flashing (for more than 15 seconds): Indicates a damaged or incompatible battery. Remove the battery immediately.
3. Remove Batteries: Once the LCD display shows a solid fully charged icon for a battery, it is ready for use. Carefully remove the charged batteries from the slots.

Trickle Charging

The charger utilizes a trickle charge method to optimize battery life and ensure a charge up to 99%. This slower charging process helps maintain battery health over time.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Disconnect the charger from the power source before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior of the charger. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
