  3. Assembly:
    • Ensure the sealing gasket is properly seated around the lid rim.
    • Place the inner pot into the main unit.
    • Attach the condensation collector to the back of the main unit.
  4. Test Run (Water Test): Before cooking food, perform a water test to familiarize yourself with the pressure cooker's operation and ensure it is functioning correctly.
    • Add 3 cups of water to the inner pot.
    • Close the lid, ensuring it is locked securely.
    • Turn the pressure release valve to the "Sealing" position.
    • Select a short cooking program (e.g., "Steam" if available, or "Soup" for 5 minutes).
    • Once the program finishes, allow pressure to release naturally or use the quick release method (see Operating Instructions).

Operating Instructions

Basic Operation Steps:

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Place desired ingredients and liquid into the inner pot. Do not exceed the MAX fill line (2/3 full for most foods, 1/2 full for expanding foods).
  2. Close Lid: Place the lid on the cooker and turn it clockwise until it locks into place. Ensure the pressure release valve is in the "Sealing" position.
  3. Select Function: Plug in the cooker. The LED display will show "OFF". Press the desired function button (e.g., "Rice", "Soup", "Chicken"). The default cooking time for that function will appear.
  4. Adjust Time (Optional): Use the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the cooking time if needed.
  5. Start Cooking: The cooker will automatically begin preheating after a few seconds. The display will show "ON" or a preheating indicator. Once pressure is reached, the countdown timer will begin.
  6. Pressure Release:
    • Natural Release: Allow the cooker to cool down naturally. The float valve will drop on its own. This is recommended for foamy foods or large cuts of meat.
    • Quick Release: Carefully turn the pressure release valve to the "Venting" position. Steam will rapidly escape. Keep hands and face away from the steam. Only use for foods that are not foamy or liquid-heavy.
  7. Open Lid: Once the float valve has dropped, turn the lid counter-clockwise and lift it off.

Delay Start Function:

The Delay function allows you to program the cooker to start at a later time.

  1. Add ingredients and close the lid as described above.
  2. Select your desired cooking function.
  3. Press the "Delay" button. The display will show a default delay time.
  4. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to adjust the delay time in hours.
  5. The cooker will start counting down the delay time. Once the delay time expires, the selected cooking program will automatically begin.

Keep Warm Function:

After cooking is complete, the cooker will automatically switch to the "Keep Warm" mode. You can also manually activate this function by pressing the "Warm/Cancel" button when the cooker is in standby mode.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your pressure cooker.

  1. Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the cooker and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Inner Pot: The non-stick inner pot is dishwasher safe, or can be washed by hand with warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge.
  3. Lid:
    • Remove the sealing gasket and wash it with warm, soapy water. Ensure it is dry before re-installing.
    • Clean the pressure release valve and float valve to ensure they are free of food debris.
    • Wipe the lid exterior with a damp cloth.
  4. Main Unit: Wipe the exterior of the main unit with a damp cloth. Never immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
  5. Condensation Collector: Empty and wash the condensation collector after each use.
