Setup
1. Power Connection

3. Network Connection (WiFi or Ethernet)
The camera supports both 2.4GHz WiFi and wired Ethernet connection.
WiFi Connection:
- Open the YI IOT app and tap the "+" icon to add a new device.
- Select your camera model or choose "Add Camera".
- Follow the on-screen instructions to connect the camera to your 2.4GHz WiFi network. Ensure your phone is connected to the same 2.4GHz network during setup.
- The app will guide you through scanning a QR code with the camera or using sound pairing.
Ethernet Connection:
- Connect an Ethernet cable (not included) from your router to the LAN Port on the camera.

1. Live View and Playback

Troubleshooting
- Camera offline:
- Ensure the camera is powered on and the power adapter is securely connected. Check your WiFi signal strength or Ethernet cable connection. Try restarting the camera by unplugging and re-plugging the power.
- Cannot connect to WiFi:
- Ensure you are connecting to a 2.4GHz WiFi network. The camera does not support 5GHz networks. Verify your WiFi password. Move the camera closer to your router to improve signal strength. If issues persist, try resetting the camera.
- No motion detection alerts:
- Check the motion detection settings in the YI IOT app. Ensure sensitivity is set appropriately and detection areas are configured correctly. Verify that app notifications are enabled on your smartphone.
- Two-way audio not working:
- Ensure the microphone and speaker permissions are granted to the YI IOT app on your phone. Check the volume settings on your phone and within the app. Ensure there are no obstructions blocking the camera's microphone or speaker.
- TF card not recording:
- Ensure the TF card is inserted correctly and is not full. Format the TF card through the app if it's a new card or if you're experiencing issues. The camera supports up to 128GB TF cards.
