Safety Information
- Always ensure the appliance is unplugged before cleaning or when not in use.
- Do not immerse the appliance, cord, or plug in water or other liquids.
- Keep the appliance out of reach of children.

- Use only cold water in the water tank.
- The carafe is designed for use with this appliance only. Do not place it on a hot stove or in a microwave oven.

Setup
- Unpack: Carefully remove all packaging materials and check for any damage.
- Clean: Before first use, wash the glass carafe, filter basket, and reusable filter in warm, soapy water. Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth.
- Position: Place the coffee maker on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from walls or cabinets to allow for proper ventilation.
- Initial Rinse: Fill the water tank to the maximum level (6 cups) and run a brew cycle without coffee to clean the internal components. Discard the water.
Operating Instructions
Brewing with Whole Coffee Beans
- Fill Water Tank: Open the water tank lid and fill with fresh, cold water up to the desired cup marking (2, 4, or 6 cups). Close the lid securely.

- Add Coffee Beans: Open the bean hopper lid and add whole coffee beans. Do not overfill. Close the lid.

- Adjust Grind Fineness: Rotate the grind adjustment knob on top of the bean hopper to select your preferred grind fineness. Finer for stronger coffee, coarser for lighter.

- Place Carafe: Ensure the glass carafe is correctly placed on the warming plate.
- Select Settings: Use the control panel to select the desired number of cups (2, 4, or 6) and coffee strength (light, medium, strong).

- Start Brewing: Press the power button to start the grinding and brewing process. The machine will grind the beans, then brew the coffee.
- Serve: Once brewing is complete, the coffee maker will keep the coffee warm. Carefully remove the carafe and pour.

Brewing with Pre-ground Coffee
- Fill Water Tank: Fill the water tank with fresh, cold water to the desired cup marking.
- Add Ground Coffee: Place the reusable filter (or a paper filter) into the filter basket. Use the provided measuring spoon to add the desired amount of pre-ground coffee directly into the filter. (Approximately 1 scoop per cup).

- Place Carafe: Ensure the glass carafe is correctly placed on the warming plate.
- Select Settings: Select the desired number of cups on the control panel. The grinding function will be bypassed automatically.
- Start Brewing: Press the power button to start the brewing process.
Maintenance and Cleaning
- Daily Cleaning: After each use, unplug the appliance. Remove the filter basket and reusable filter, and wash them along with the glass carafe in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a damp cloth.
- Grinder Cleaning: Periodically, clean the grinder components. Refer to the manual for detailed instructions on disassembling and cleaning the grinder burrs to prevent clogging and ensure optimal performance.
- Descaling: Depending on water hardness, descaling is recommended every 2-3 months. Use a commercial descaling solution suitable for coffee makers or a mixture of white vinegar and water (1:2 ratio). Follow the descaling solution's instructions or run several brew cycles with the vinegar solution, followed by several cycles with plain water to rinse.
