Setup and Installation
For detailed installation instructions, please refer to the official Installation Manual PDF provided by Moen. A digital copy can be found here.
The installation process typically involves the following steps:
- Unpack Components: Verify all parts are present, including the faucet body, deck plate (if needed for 3-hole installation), rubber gasket, mounting bracket, mounting nut, hose protector, spray head, and water supply lines.
- Prepare for Installation: Decide whether to use the deck plate for 3-hole sinks or the rubber gasket for 1-hole sinks.
- Install Faucet Body: Insert the faucet body into the sink hole. From underneath the sink, slide the mounting bracket onto the main shaft, ensuring the water supply lines pass through the designated spaces. Secure it with the mounting nut.
- Attach Hose Protector: Put on the hose protector and tighten it by hand until snug.
- Connect Spray Head Hose: Connect the spray head to its hose. Push the hose all the way through the faucet body.
- Connect Main Water Line: Connect the spray hose with the main water line using the quick connector.
- Attach Weight: Clip the weight onto the hose at the yellow marker to ensure proper retraction of the spray head.
- Connect Water Supply Lines: Use Teflon tape where necessary on the threads of your water supply connections. Connect the hot and cold water supply lines to the corresponding inlets on the faucet and tighten with a wrench.
- Test for Leaks: Run water through the faucet and carefully check all connections for any leaks.

Maintenance
To maintain the appearance and functionality of your Moen Adler faucet:
- Cleaning the Finish: The Spot Resist™ Stainless finish is designed to resist fingerprints and water spots. Clean regularly with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners, polishes, or harsh chemicals as they can damage the finish.
- Cleaning the Spray Head: Periodically clean the spray head nozzles to remove mineral buildup. You can gently rub the rubber nozzles with your finger or a soft brush to dislodge deposits.
- General Care: Ensure the faucet is not subjected to extreme temperatures. Regularly check for any loose connections or drips and address them promptly to prevent further issues.

Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your faucet, consider the following common solutions:
- Low Water Flow: Check if the aerator is clogged with debris. Unscrew the aerator from the spray head and clean it. Also, ensure that the water supply valves under the sink are fully open.
- Leaking: Inspect all connections for tightness. If leaks persist, the internal cartridges may need replacement. Refer to the installation manual or contact Moen customer support.
- Spray Head Not Retracting: Ensure the weight on the hose is properly positioned and not obstructed. The Reflex system relies on this weight for smooth retraction.
