3.2. Pairing with Your TV (Code Search Methods)

There are several methods to pair the universal remote control with your television. Please try the methods below until you find one that works for your TV.

Method A: Inputting Code (Direct Code Entry)

This method involves directly entering a three-digit code corresponding to your TV brand. Refer to the code list (not provided in this manual, typically found with the product packaging or online) for your TV's specific code.

  1. Turn on your TV and ensure it is in a normal operating state. Aim the remote control at the TV.
  2. Press the SET button, then press the POWER button. The indicator lamp on the remote will light up, indicating it is in inputting code mode. Release both buttons.
  3. Enter the first set of the three-digit code in order. The indicator lamp will flash once for each digit entered. After entering all three digits, the indicator lamp will turn off, signifying that the setting is complete. If multiple codes are listed for your brand, try the first one initially.
  4. Test other function buttons (e.g., MUTE) to verify if the remote works correctly. If not, repeat steps 2-3 with a different code until a suitable code is found.

Method C: Automatically Searching Code

This method allows the remote to automatically search for the correct code for your TV.

  1. Turn on your TV and ensure it is in a normal operating state. Aim the remote control at the TV.
  2. Press and hold the SET button for approximately 6 seconds. The indicator lamp on the remote will light up, and the remote control will enter automatic search mode.
  3. While holding the SET button, observe your TV screen. When the volume symbol appears on your TV, immediately release the SET button. This indicates that a suitable code has been found and set.
  4. Test other function buttons (except SET, POWER, and VOLUME) to confirm functionality. If the remote does not work correctly, repeat steps 2-3 until a suitable code is found.

Method D: Point to Point Brand Searching (Brand Express)

This method uses specific brand buttons on the remote for quicker setup.

  1. Turn on your TV and ensure it is in a normal operating state. Aim the remote control at the TV. Identify the corresponding brand button on the remote for your TV (e.g., SHARP, SONY, Panasonic, SAMSUNG, LG, etc.).
  2. Press and hold the corresponding brand button for three seconds. The indicator lamp will flash. Continue holding until the volume symbol appears on your TV screen. Release the button immediately once the volume symbol appears. The indicator lamp will turn off, indicating the setting is finished.
  3. Test the remote's functions. If it does not work, repeat the process, as the remote may cycle through multiple codes for that brand.

5. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the remote control. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or alcohol, as these can damage the surface or internal components.
