This 1.1-quart electric kettle features a powerful 1500W heating element for rapid boiling, a durable glass carafe, and essential safety features like automatic shut-off and boil-dry protection. Its BPA-free construction ensures safe and clean hot water for your beverages.

Important Safety Information

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances.

• Read all instructions before use.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.

Setup

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the kettle and all accessories from the packaging. Dispose of packaging materials responsibly.
2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, fill the kettle with clean water to the MAX line. Boil the water (see "Operating Instructions"). Discard the boiled water. Repeat this process 2-3 times to remove any manufacturing residues.
3. Placement: Place the power base on a dry, flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure the kettle is not near the edge of a counter or table to prevent accidental tipping.
4. Cord Management: Unwind the power cord from the cord wrap system on the base to the desired length. Plug the power base into a standard electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

1. Fill the Kettle: Open the lid and fill the glass carafe with the desired amount of fresh, cold water. Do not fill below the MIN (0.3L) mark or above the MAX (1.0L) mark. The wide 75-degree opening facilitates easy filling.
2. Close the Lid: Ensure the lid is securely closed before placing the kettle on the power base.
3. Place on Base: Position the kettle firmly onto the power base.
4. Start Boiling: Press the On/Off switch down. The LED indicator light will illuminate, indicating that the kettle is heating.
5. Automatic Shut-Off: The kettle will automatically turn off once the water reaches a rolling boil. The LED indicator light will extinguish.
6. Pouring: Carefully lift the kettle from its power base using the cool-touch handle. Pour the hot water slowly and steadily.
7. Re-boiling: If you need to re-boil water, wait a few moments for the internal thermostat to reset before pressing the On/Off switch again.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will prolong the life of your kettle.

• Always unplug the kettle from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
• Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior of the kettle with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they may scratch the surface.
• Interior Cleaning: The interior of the glass carafe can be cleaned with a soft brush or sponge and mild dish soap. Rinse thoroughly.
• Removable Filter: The kettle includes a removable filter located in the spout. To clean, gently pull the filter upwards to remove it. Rinse under running water and brush away any mineral deposits. Reinsert the filter by aligning it with the slots and pushing it down until it clicks into place.
• Descaling: Mineral deposits (limescale) can build up inside the kettle over time, especially in hard water areas.
  • Fill the kettle with 1 part white vinegar and 2 parts water.
  • Bring to a boil and let it stand for 30 minutes.
  • Discard the solution and rinse the kettle thoroughly with fresh water several times.
  • For stubborn deposits, repeat the process or use a commercial descaling solution following its instructions.
• Do not immerse the power base in water or any other liquid.
• Storage: When not in use, store the kettle on its base in a dry, safe place. The cord can be wrapped around the cord wrap system under the base for neat storage.
