- Pushers (A & B): Used to operate the chronograph functions.
- Main Dial: Displays hours, minutes, and seconds.

Setup
1. Setting the Time
- Pull the crown out to the second position (farthest out).
- Rotate the crown to move the hour and minute hands until the correct time is displayed.
- Push the crown back into the first position (normal operating position) to start the watch.
2. Initial Chronograph Reset
If the chronograph hands are not aligned to the 12 o'clock position, they may need to be reset. Refer to the "Troubleshooting" section for adjustment procedures if necessary.
Operating the Chronograph

Figure 2: Side View with Crown and Pushers
This image illustrates the position of the crown and the two chronograph pushers (A and B) on the side of the watch case, which are used for operating the stopwatch function.
- Start: Press pusher A (top pusher) to start the chronograph. The chronograph second hand and minute sub-dial will begin to move.
- Stop: Press pusher A again to stop the chronograph. The elapsed time will be indicated by the chronograph hands.
- Reset: After stopping the chronograph, press pusher B (bottom pusher) to reset all chronograph hands to their zero (12 o'clock) positions.
- Split Time (if applicable): This model may not feature split time. If it does, consult the movement specific manual.
Water Resistance (5 ATM)
Your Fila FILASTYLE 38-175 watch is water resistant up to 5 ATM (50 meters). This means it is suitable for everyday use, including showering and swimming in shallow water. However, it is not suitable for diving or snorkeling. Do not operate the crown or pushers when the watch is wet or submerged in water, as this can compromise the water resistance seal.
Maintenance
Cleaning
- Wipe the watch case and crystal with a soft, dry cloth.
- For the silicone strap, use a mild soap and water solution with a soft cloth, then rinse thoroughly and dry completely. Avoid harsh chemicals.
Battery Replacement
The watch is powered by a quartz movement and requires a battery. When the watch stops or the second hand begins to jump irregularly (indicating low battery), it is time for a replacement. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and water resistance.

Figure 3: Watch Case Back
This image shows the stainless steel case back of the watch, which typically contains information such as the brand, model, and water resistance rating. This is where a watch technician would access the movement for battery replacement.
Storage
When not in use, store your watch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. The original watch box can provide suitable protection.

Figure 4: Fila Watch Box
The watch comes in a protective Fila branded box, ideal for storage when the watch is not being worn, helping to protect it from dust and damage.
Troubleshooting
- Watch Not Running:
- Check if the crown is pushed in completely to the first position.
- The battery may be depleted. Refer to the "Battery Replacement" section.
- Chronograph Hands Not Resetting to Zero:
This usually indicates a need for chronograph hand alignment. The procedure varies by movement, but generally involves pulling the crown out to the second position and using the pushers (A and/or B) to advance the chronograph hands to the 12 o'clock position. Consult a watch technician if you are unsure.
- Water or Condensation Inside Watch:
If you notice moisture inside the watch, immediately take it to a qualified watch repair center. Do not attempt to open the watch yourself, as this can cause further damage and void the warranty.
