Setup

1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all items listed in the "Comprehensive Kit" feature are present.
2. Placement: Place the soldering station on a stable, heat-resistant, and non-flammable surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
3. Solder Wire Holder: Attach the solder wire holder to the side of the main unit if not already assembled. Mount the included lead-free solder wire onto the holder.
4. Soldering Iron Connection: Connect the soldering iron cable securely to the designated port on the front of the soldering station.
5. Grounding Wire: For optimal ESD protection, connect the grounding wire to a suitable ground point on your workbench or a dedicated grounding mat.
6. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a standard 110V AC grounded electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On: Flip the power switch located on the front of the unit to the "ON" position. The digital display will illuminate.
2. Temperature Adjustment: Use the rotary knob to set the desired temperature. The display will show both Fahrenheit and Celsius readings. The temperature range is 302°F to 842°F (150°C to 450°C).
3. Temperature Lock: Press the "LOCK" button to engage the temperature lock function. This prevents accidental temperature changes during operation. Press again to unlock.
4. Heating: The soldering iron will rapidly heat to the set temperature. The display will show the current temperature.
5. Soldering: Once the desired temperature is reached, the iron is ready for use. Apply the tip to the joint to be soldered, then feed solder wire onto the heated joint.
6. Auto Standby/Sleep:
   • If the iron is not used for 10 minutes, it will automatically enter standby mode, reducing the tip temperature to a safe level.
   • After 20 minutes of inactivity, the unit will enter sleep mode, further reducing power consumption and increasing safety.
   • To resume operation from standby or sleep, simply pick up the soldering iron. It will quickly return to the set temperature.
7. Power Off: When finished, place the soldering iron in its stand and turn off the power switch. Allow the iron to cool completely before storing.

Maintenance

• Tip Cleaning: Regularly clean the soldering tip using the brass tip cleaner or a damp sponge. This removes oxidation and old solder, ensuring efficient heat transfer.
