The Energizer LED Headlamp features a comfortable, adjustable headband and a durable light unit. It is equipped with multiple LED lights to provide different illumination modes. The light unit can be tilted to direct the beam where needed.
Setup
Battery Installation
Your Energizer LED Headlamp requires 3 AAA batteries (included). Follow these steps to install them:
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the headlamp unit.
- Open the battery compartment cover. This may require a firm but gentle pull or slide, depending on the model.
- Insert 3 AAA batteries, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) ends align correctly with the indicators inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely until it clicks into place.
Caution: Always use fresh batteries of the same type. Do not mix old and new batteries, or different types of batteries. Remove batteries if the headlamp will not be used for an extended period.
Operating Instructions
Wearing the Headlamp
Place the headlamp on your head with the light unit positioned on your forehead. Adjust the elastic headband for a comfortable and secure fit. The headband is adjustable to fit various head sizes.
Power On/Off and Mode Selection
The power button is located on the top of the headlamp unit.
- To Turn On: Press the power button once. The headlamp will typically turn on in the default White Spot light mode.
- To Change Modes: Press the power button repeatedly to cycle through the available light modes:
- White Spot light
- White Flood light
- Spot and Flood together
- Red Night Vision
- To Turn Off: Continue pressing the power button until the headlamp turns off, or press and hold the button for a few seconds in any mode.
Adjusting Brightness (Dimming)
In any white light mode, press and hold the power button to dim the light. Release the button when the desired brightness level is reached. This feature helps conserve battery life.
Tilting the Light Unit
The light unit can be tilted up or down to direct the light beam. Gently push the light unit to adjust its angle. This allows you to illuminate your immediate path or a distant object.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the headlamp with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Storage: Store the headlamp in a cool, dry place when not in use. Remove batteries if storing for extended periods to prevent leakage.
- Water Resistance: The headlamp is water resistant, but not submersible. Avoid prolonged exposure to heavy rain or submersion in water.
