5.2 Basic Flight Controls
Use the joysticks on the remote control or the virtual joysticks in the app to control the drone's movement:
- Throttle (Left Joystick Up/Down): Controls altitude. Push up to ascend, push down to descend.
- Yaw (Left Joystick Left/Right): Controls rotation. Push left to rotate counter-clockwise, push right to rotate clockwise.
- Forward/Backward (Right Joystick Up/Down): Controls forward and backward movement. Push up to fly forward, push down to fly backward.
- Left/Right (Right Joystick Left/Right): Controls sideward movement. Push left to fly left, push right to fly right.
Video 5.2: Basic flight control demonstration (up, down, left, right, forward, backward).
5.3 Speed Switch
The drone has 3 speed modes (low, medium, high) to suit different skill levels and environments.
- Press the Speed Switch button on the remote control to cycle through the speed settings. Each press will indicate the current speed mode (e.g., beeps for low, medium, high).
Video 5.3: How to change flight speed settings.
5.4 Fine-Tuning Function
If the drone drifts in a certain direction during flight, use the fine-tuning buttons to correct its stability.
- If the drone drifts forward, press the backward fine-tuning button.
- If the drone drifts backward, press the forward fine-tuning button.
- If the drone drifts left, press the right fine-tuning button.
- If the drone drifts right, press the left fine-tuning button.
