Introduction
The VidPro XM-WTTR is a dual-channel UHF wireless lavalier microphone system designed for professional audio recording. It features two body-pack transmitters with lavalier microphones and one receiver unit, allowing for simultaneous recording of two subjects. This system is ideal for 2-person interviews, Electronic News Gathering (ENG), Electronic Field Production (EFP), and DSLR video recording, providing clear, high-quality audio.

Setup
1. Battery Installation
Both the transmitters and the receiver require 2 AA batteries each (not included). To install:
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back of each unit.
- Insert 2 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
2. Connecting Lavalier Microphones
Connect each lavalier microphone to the 3.5mm MIC input jack on the top of each transmitter body-pack. Ensure the connection is firm.
3. Connecting Receiver to Recording Device
The receiver can be connected to your camera or recording device using either the supplied 3.5mm audio cable or the XLR audio cable.
- For 3.5mm input: Connect one end of the 3.5mm stereo audio cable to the LINE OUT jack on the receiver and the other end to the microphone input of your camera or recording device.
- For XLR input: Connect one end of the XLR audio cable to the LINE OUT jack on the receiver and the other end to the XLR input of your professional audio recorder or camera.
4. Mounting the Units
- Transmitters: Use the provided belt clips to attach the transmitters to clothing or belts for discreet placement.
- Receiver: The receiver can be mounted on a camera's hot shoe using the included camera shoe mount adapter.

Operating Instructions
1. Powering On/Off
Press and hold the 'POWER' button on each transmitter and the receiver to turn the units on or off. The LCD display will illuminate when powered on.
2. Channel Selection
The system offers 48 user-selectable UHF channels to avoid interference. Each transmitter operates on a distinct frequency range (Transmitter A: 556.71 MHz-575.98 MHz; Transmitter B: 576.39 MHz-595.66 MHz).
- On the receiver, use the 'A/B' switch to select which channel (A or B) you wish to adjust.
- On both the transmitter and receiver, use the '+' and '-' buttons to cycle through available channels.
- Press the 'SET' button to confirm the selected channel. Ensure the transmitter and its corresponding receiver channel are set to the same frequency for proper operation.
3. Mute Function
Each transmitter features a selectable mute switch. Press the 'POWER/MUTE' button briefly to mute or unmute the microphone. The LCD display will indicate the mute status.
4. Audio Monitoring
The receiver unit includes an earphone output (3.5mm mini-jack) for live audio monitoring. Connect headphones to this jack to monitor the audio being captured.
5. Stereo and Mono Modes
The receiver supports both stereo and mono output modes. Select the appropriate mode based on your recording device's input and your desired audio configuration.

Maintenance
1. Battery Care
- Always use fresh AA batteries for optimal performance.
- Remove batteries from the units if they will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage and damage.
- Dispose of used batteries responsibly according to local regulations.
2. Cleaning
- Wipe the units with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
- Regularly inspect and replace foam windscreens on the lavalier microphones if they become worn or dirty to maintain audio quality.
3. Storage
Store the system in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Keep all components in their original packaging or a protective case to prevent damage.
