Operation

Self-Leveling Mode:

To activate self-leveling mode, slide the pendulum lock to the unlocked position. The laser level will automatically self-level within 140. If the tool is outside this range, the laser lines will blink to indicate it cannot self-level.

Manual / Tilt Mode:

To use the laser level at any angle, engage the manual mode. This is done by sliding the pendulum lock to the locked position or by pressing and holding the brightness button for 3 seconds. In manual mode, the laser lines will blink every 3-5 seconds to remind you that it is not self-leveling.

Pulse Mode:

Pulse Mode is designed for use in brighter environments or when a laser receiver is needed to extend the working range. Activate Pulse Mode to switch to weaker lasers, which are more suitable for larger workspaces or outdoor settings. When used with a Huepar receiver, the operating range increases from 85 feet to 200 feet.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and accuracy of your Huepar laser level.

  • Cleaning: Regularly wipe the laser level with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Keep the laser apertures clean to ensure clear beams.
  • Storage: When not in use, store the laser level in its hard carry case in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure the pendulum lock is in the locked position during storage and transport to protect the internal components.
  • Battery Care: If storing for extended periods, remove the battery. Recharge the battery periodically (e.g., every 3-6 months) to maintain its health.
  • Inspection: Periodically check for any signs of damage to the housing, battery compartment, or laser apertures.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your Huepar B03CG laser level, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Laser Lines Blinking Rapidly: This typically indicates that the laser level is outside its self-leveling range (140). Adjust the position of the tool until the blinking stops and the lines become steady.
  • No Laser Lines:
    • Check if the unit is turned on.
    • Ensure the battery is charged or the unit is connected to a power source.
    • Verify the pendulum lock is in the unlocked position for self-leveling mode, or that manual mode is correctly engaged.
  • Dim Laser Lines:
    • In bright light conditions, laser lines may appear dim. Use Pulse Mode with a Huepar laser receiver for better visibility.
    • Ensure the laser apertures are clean and free from dust or debris.
  • Inaccurate Leveling:
    • Ensure the laser level is placed on a stable surface and within its self-leveling range.
    • Avoid strong vibrations during operation.
    • If issues persist, contact customer support for calibration or repair.
