- Placement: This unit is suitable for various rooms including living rooms, study rooms, bedrooms, children's rooms, and offices.
- Weight Distribution: Distribute weight evenly across the shelves to maintain stability and prevent warping. Place heavier items on lower shelves.
Maintenance
Proper care will extend the life and appearance of your bookshelf.
- Cleaning the Bookshelf: Wipe the wooden surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish. Dry immediately with a clean cloth.
- Cleaning the Bins: The fabric bins can be spot cleaned with a mild detergent and a damp cloth. Allow them to air dry completely. Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
- Hardware Check: Periodically check all assembly hardware (screws, dowels) to ensure they remain tight. Retighten if necessary to maintain structural integrity.
- Avoid Direct Sunlight: Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight can cause fading or discoloration of the finish.
