Setup Instructions

1. Choose Your Mounting Option

The monitor arm supports two installation methods: C-clamp or Grommet mount. Select the method best suited for your desk.

C-Clamp Installation

1. Attach the C-clamp base to the main pole of the monitor arm.
2. Position the C-clamp on the edge of your desk. Ensure the desk thickness is between 0.4" and 3.3" (10-85mm).
3. Tighten the C-clamp screws securely until the arm is stable on the desk.

Grommet Mount Installation

1. If your desk has a grommet hole (diameter 0.4"-2.3" / 10-60mm), use the grommet mount base.
2. Thread the grommet mount through the desk hole and secure it from underneath with the provided hardware.
3. Attach the main pole of the monitor arm to the secured grommet base.

2. Attach Your Monitor

1. Attach the VESA plate to the back of your monitor using the appropriate screws from the hardware kit. Ensure your monitor has VESA 75x75mm or 100x100mm mounting holes.
2. Carefully slide the monitor (with VESA plate attached) onto the arm's VESA head until it clicks into place.
3. Secure the monitor to the arm by tightening the VESA plate screws.

Operating Instructions

Your AVLT monitor arm offers a wide range of adjustments to achieve optimal ergonomic positioning.

Adjusting Monitor Position

• Height Adjustment: The gas spring mechanism allows for smooth vertical movement. Gently push or pull the monitor up or down to your desired height (10" to 23").
• Tilt: Tilt the monitor screen up or down from +45° to -30° to reduce glare and optimize viewing angle.
• Swivel: Swivel the monitor left or right up to 90° in either direction for collaborative viewing or to adjust your personal viewing angle.
• Rotation: Rotate the monitor 180° (from +180° to -180°) to switch between landscape and portrait orientations.
• Arm Extension: Extend or retract the arm to bring the monitor closer or further away from you.

Gas Spring Tension Adjustment

If the monitor does not stay at the desired height or is too difficult to move, you may need to adjust the gas spring tension. Use the provided Allen wrench to turn the adjustment screw located on the arm.
