Setup and Installation
Step 1: Choose Your Mounting Option
The AVLT Dual Monitor Arm offers two installation methods: C-Clamp or Grommet Mount. Select the option best suited for your desk.
C-Clamp Installation
- Attach the C-clamp base to the edge of your desk. Ensure the desk thickness is between 0.4" and 3.3" (10mm - 85mm).
- Tighten the C-clamp bolts securely until the base is firmly attached to the desk.
- Insert the main pole into the C-clamp base and secure it with the provided screws.

Grommet Mount Installation
- If your desk has a grommet hole, ensure its diameter is between 0.4" and 2.3" (10mm - 60mm) and the desk thickness is up to 1.8" (48mm).
- Insert the grommet bolt through the desk hole.
- Attach the grommet plate and tighten the nut from underneath the desk until secure.
- Insert the main pole into the grommet base and secure it with the provided screws.

Operating Instructions
The AVLT Dual Monitor Arm provides extensive adjustability for optimal viewing comfort.
Adjusting Gas Spring Tension
The gas spring mechanism allows for effortless height adjustment. If your monitor sags or rises too easily, adjust the tension:
- Use the provided hex key to turn the adjustment screw on the arm.
- Turn clockwise (towards '-') to decrease tension for lighter monitors.
- Turn counter-clockwise (towards '+') to increase tension for heavier monitors.
- Adjust until the monitor stays at the desired height without drifting.

Monitor Adjustments
- Height: Lift or lower the monitor arm to achieve the desired vertical position. The arm offers a height adjustment range of 10" to 23".
- Tilt: Tilt your monitor +45° to -45° to reduce glare and find the optimal viewing angle.
- Swivel: Swivel your monitor +90° to -90° horizontally to share your screen or adjust your viewing perspective.
- Rotation: Rotate your monitor 360° to switch between landscape and portrait orientations.

Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Monitor sags or does not stay at desired height. | Gas spring tension is too low for the monitor weight. | Increase gas spring tension by turning the adjustment screw counter-clockwise (towards '+') with the hex key. |
| Monitor is difficult to move or push down. | Gas spring tension is too high for the monitor weight. | Decrease gas spring tension by turning the adjustment screw clockwise (towards '-') with the hex key. |
| Monitor wobbles or feels unstable. | Mounting bolts or VESA screws are loose. | Check and tighten all C-clamp/grommet bolts and VESA mounting screws. Ensure the desk surface is stable. |
| USB/AUX ports not functioning. | Extension cables not properly connected to the PC. | Ensure the USB and AUX extension cables from the monitor arm base are securely plugged into the corresponding ports on your computer. |
