2. Important Safety Information

Please read all safety warnings and instructions carefully before using this product to prevent potential injury or damage. Keep this manual for future reference.

• Voltage Compatibility: This product is designed for 220V 60 Hz electrical systems. If you are in a region with 110V (e.g., USA, Canada), you MUST use a step-up voltage converter. Failure to do so will damage the product and may pose a fire hazard.
• Avoid using while sleeping or for prolonged periods to prevent potential burns or overheating.
• Always follow the patented EESS Safety System for safe operation.
• Do not use on infants, incapacitated persons, or persons insensitive to heat.
• Do not use if the heating pad is wet.
• Do not use pins or other metallic objects with this heating pad.
• Do not fold or crease the heating pad excessively during use.
• Disconnect from power outlet when not in use.
• Keep out of reach of children.

3. Setup and Initial Use

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the heating pad and its controller from the packaging.
2. Inspect: Check the heating pad and cord for any signs of damage. Do not use if damaged.
3. Connect: Ensure the controller is securely connected to the heating pad. The connection point is designed for a firm fit.

4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a 220V electrical outlet. If your region uses 110V, ensure you are using an appropriate step-up voltage converter.
5. Placement: Place the heating pad on the desired area of your body or surface. Ensure it lies flat and is not folded or bunched up.

4. Operating Instructions

The Imetec Intelliheat Heating Pad features a user-friendly controller for easy temperature adjustment.

1. Power On: Press the power button on the controller to turn on the heating pad. The indicator light will illuminate.
2. Select Heat Level: Use the temperature control dial or buttons (depending on model variation) to select your desired heat level from the 5 available speeds. The pad features rapid preheating to quickly reach the selected temperature.

3. Application: Apply the heating pad to the desired area. It is suitable for various applications such as warming the abdomen, back, or sitting area.

4. Duration: Use for comfortable periods. Do not use while sleeping or for prolonged periods to avoid overheating.
5. Power Off: When finished, press the power button to turn off the heating pad and unplug it from the electrical outlet.

5. Maintenance and Care

Proper care will extend the life of your Imetec Intelliheat Heating Pad.

• Cleaning: The heating pad is water washable. Always disconnect the controller and power cord before washing. Follow the care label instructions for specific washing temperatures and methods.
• Drying: Allow the heating pad to air dry completely before reconnecting the controller and using it again. Do not tumble dry or iron.
• Storage: Store the heating pad in a cool, dry place. Avoid folding it tightly or placing heavy objects on it, which could damage the internal heating elements.

6. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your heating pad, please refer to the following common solutions:

• No Power:
  • Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working 220V outlet (or through a proper step-up converter if in a 110V region).
  • Check that the controller is firmly connected to the heating pad.
  • Verify the power button on the controller has been pressed.
• Not Heating:
  • Confirm a heat level has been selected on the controller.
  • Ensure the pad is lying flat and not excessively folded, which can trigger safety features.
• Overheating/Automatic Shut-off:
  • The patented EESS Safety System is designed to prevent overheating. If the pad shuts off unexpectedly, unplug it, allow it to cool down, and check for any obstructions or improper folding before restarting.
  • Do not use for prolonged periods or while sleeping.
