- Network Configuration: Configure the Jetbot to connect to your local Wi-Fi network for remote access and control.
5. Operating Instructions
The Jetbot offers multiple ways to control its movements and utilize its features.

Image 5.1: Illustration of the three primary control methods: Gamepad, Mobile App, and PC.
5.1 Control Methods
- Remote Control Handle (Gamepad): Use the included gamepad for direct, real-time control of the Jetbot's movement and camera.
- Mobile App (Android/iOS): Download the dedicated Yahboom Jetbot app from your device's app store. The app allows for remote control, viewing real-time camera feed, and activating various AI functions.
- PC Control: Connect to the Jetbot via your computer's web browser (e.g., through Jupyter Lab) to send commands, run scripts, and monitor its status.
5.2 Camera Operation
The Jetbot is equipped with an 800W HD camera mounted on a 3-Degrees-of-Freedom (3DOF) head, allowing for flexible viewing angles.

Image 5.2: Demonstrates the 3-dimensional movement capabilities of the Jetbot's camera head.
- Real-time Video: The camera transmits real-time video, providing a first-person perspective.
- 3DOF Control: Control the camera's pan (left/right), tilt (up/down), and vertical lift (front/rear) using your chosen control method (gamepad, app, or PC interface).
6. AI Visual Functions
The Jetbot leverages the power of the Jetson Nano to perform various artificial intelligence tasks, enhancing its autonomous capabilities.

Image 6.1: Overview of the Jetbot's AI visual functions, including automatic follow, color recognition, anti-drop, and multi-environment avoidance.
- Automatic Follow: Select a target object, and the Jetbot will automatically track and follow it. The app displays the recognized object in real-time.
- Color Recognition/Tracking: The Jetbot can identify and track specific colors. Click on different colors in the control interface to initiate corresponding color tracking.
