Setup

Unpacking and Placement:

  1. Carefully remove the ice maker from its packaging.
  2. Inspect the unit for any shipping damage. If damaged, contact your retailer immediately.
  3. Place the ice maker on a firm, level surface capable of supporting its weight when full of ice and water.
  4. Ensure there is at least 6 inches (15 cm) of clearance around the back and sides for proper air circulation.
  5. Allow the unit to stand upright for at least 2 hours before plugging it in, especially if it was transported horizontally. This allows the refrigerant to settle.

Water Connection:

The ice maker requires a continuous water supply and a drain. All necessary hoses are included.

  1. Water Supply: Connect the complimentary 0.25-inch diameter water supply hose to a potable water faucet. Secure the connection using the provided water supply connector.
  2. Drainage: Connect the water draining hose to the drainage hole at the back of the unit. Ensure the other end of the hose is directed to a suitable drain (e.g., floor drain, sink). The drain hose should have a continuous downward slope to allow gravity drainage. If gravity drainage is not possible, a separate drain pump may be required (not included).
  3. Leak Check: After connecting both hoses, slowly turn on the water supply and check for any leaks at the connection points. Tighten if necessary.
